Wednesday, April 15:
Arrive this afternoon in New York City. MTH will book your airfare for you at NO CHARGE upon request. Transportation will be provided to THE CORNELL CLUB on 44th Street, just off FIFTH AVENUE.
This evening there will be a get acquainted cocktail reception & dinner party in the WHITE LIBRARY at the Cornell Club.
Thursday, April 16:
A full breakfast is included each morning of your stay at the Cornell Club. At 10 AM Tim & George will take for a walking tour of the Broadway Theater District. Walk in the footsteps of Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lerner & Loewe, George Gershwin and Stephen Sondheim. See the theaters, hear the stories and feel the vibrations of the great American Musicals.
After the walking tour we will meet at the BROADWAY MUSEUM on 45th Street. After a break for the restroom and water we will be joined by veteran Broadway performer, to learn about theater life in New York & Broadway.
Our first of four Broadway shows will be DEATH BECOMES HER. George & Tim will give a short talk about the show. It will be an easy walk to the theater.
Friday, April 17:
Today is left free for you to enjoy New York in your own way; museums, shopping, a favorite restaurant, Central Park or the Highline, or take a coach or water tour of New York.
As an option this morning at NO EXTRA CHARGE, George will offer a walking tour of GREENWICH VILLAGE.
Tonight, our second Broadway Theater outing is BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB.
Saturday, April 18:
The day is free until your matinee performance this afternoon. The ticket is included in the trip price. Broadway shows today tend to gear toward specific demographics. Choose a long-runner or a new musical or play that looks interesting to your personal tastes.
After theater our final dinner party will be at KELLARI TAVERNA, the very popular seafood restaurant on 44th Street in the Theater District. One cocktail & wines with dinner included.
Our fourth and final theater outing will be determined later this summer. Possibilities….
Sunday, April 19:
Check out by noon. Coach transportation will be provided to the airport for afternoon flights home.
