A Night on the Town New York & Broadway

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23:
Arrive this afternoon in New York City. George will book your airfare for you at NO CHARGE upon request. Transportation will be provided to THE CORNELL CLUB at #6 East 44th Street, just off FIFTH AVENUE in midtown. Coach departure time & location TBD.
This evening there will be a get-acquainted cocktail reception & three-course dinner at THE HARVARD CLUB of NEW YORK
After our dinner party George & Sharon Harter will take more hardy souls by subway to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade for a spectacular night view of the Manhattan skyline.
THURSDAY, APRIL 24:
A full breakfast is included each morning of your stay at the Cornell Club. At 10 AM George will conduct a Broadway history walking tour through the heart of the Theater District, followed by a meet & greet from a cast member from one of our shows. The afternoon is at your leisure.
Our first of four Broadway theater outings will feature six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald as Mamma Rose in the 1958 classic GYPSY.
FRIDAY, APRIL 25:
Today is left free for you to enjoy New York in your own way; museums, shopping, a favorite restaurant, Central Park or the Highline, or take a coach or water tour of New York.
OPTIONAL: George & Sharon will take you to Gramercy Park for a walk around the private park & the stately homes, then savor a 3-course lunch with wine pairing at the Michelin Star GRAMERCY TAVERN, featuring cuisine by Chef Michael Anthony. $150 per person.
Tonight, our second Broadway Theater will be the winner of 4 Tony Awards including Best New Musical of 2024: THE OUTSIDERS
SATURDAY, APRIL 26:
The day is free until your matinee performance this afternoon. The ticket is included in the trip price. Maybe you haven’t seen HADESTOWN, MOULIN ROUGE or WATER FOR ELEPHANTS; or choose a new show that looks interesting to your personal tastes.
After theater our final dinner party will be at BARBETTA located in an Astor family townhouse on 46th Street. We begin with a cocktail in the private dining room, then enjoy a fabulous three-course dinner.
Our fourth and final theater outing will be A WONDERFUL WORLD, the new musical at Studio 54 celebrating the life of the great Louis Armstrong.
SUNDAY, APRIL 27:
Enjoy your New York Sunday morning with the New York Times and a leisurely breakfast; take in a service at St. Patrick’s Cathedral or St. Thomas Episcopal Church with its Choir of Men & Boys nearby. Coach transportation will be provided to the airport for afternoon flights home.
You will be invoiced for a $200 per person non-refundable deposit to reserve space.
