Are my tickets refundable or exchangeable?

All sales are final and non-refundable. Exchanges are at the Theater’s discretion and incur a $5 exchange fee. These requests must be made through the MTH Box Office at least 24 hours in advance of the performance time. MTH season ticket holders typically incur no exchange fee; however, for Season ticket holders to have the exchange fee waived, requests must be made 48 hours in advance. There are no exchanges the day of the perfromance. (816) 221-6987

What’s the temperature like in your theater?

We are so glad you asked! Our Theater tends to run at about 70˚, so if you tend to get cold we suggest bringing a light jacket or sweater. MTH provides a limited amount of blankets as well, but first come, first served!

Where do I park for MTH?

Parking is located in the Crown Center parking garage on the west side of Grand Boulevard. We are on level 3a at the end of the hallway. Parking is always free with a voucher. Vouchers can be picked up at the box office.

May I bring food or drink into the theater?

Anything you purchase from the full service MTH Lobby Bar may be taken into the theater. No outside food or drink allowed.

What is your late seating policy?

There is no late seating. Any exception is at the Theater’s discretion.

What are the children’s policies at MTH?

Due to the intimate nature of our Theater, we require each child to be at least 5 years of age to attend, and every child requires a ticket to enter the theater. Please note that not all material may be appropriate for all ages. See specific show information or call our Box Office for more information. (816) 221-6987

Do you have accessible seating and parking for patrons

Yes, of course! We have accessible seating including moveable seats for those who use wheelchairs as well as companion seats available. Please reach out to our Box Office team with any concerns or questions. Accessible parking is located right outside the doors on floor 3a, and elevators are immediately accessible on levels 2a and 3a parking garage. For questions or concerns email our accessibility coordinator, Cait Lambrecht at Cait@mthkc.com or CLICK HERE!

What’s the deal with electronics?

For legal and safety reasons, absolutely no photos or videos may be taken during the performance. All cellphones must be turned off or set to “silent” during the performance. Refrain from texting or taking phone calls during the performance… the actors can see your face light up! If it is an emergency, please move safely to the lobby and an MTH staff member will escort you back to your seats at an appropriate and safe point in the show.

What are the safety procedures?

MTH is a unique theater with only 7 rows! Actors will use any and all entrances during the performance and aisles need to be clear at all times for their and your safety. You don’t want to get run over! In case of fire or emergency, remain calm and an MTH staff member will quickly direct you to the fire exits located at the back of the theater.

Can I make a donation to MTH?

Yes! MTH is made possible by viewers like you! You can make one at the time of ticket purchase, or by calling our Box Office. All donations are 100% tax deductible. If you would like a formal receipt of your donation, contact the MTH Box Office. (816) 221-6987.
