Catera is thrilled to return to Music Theatre Heritage for Brigadoon. She recently appeared in Elvis & Elton at New Theatre & Restaurant. At Music Theatre Heritage, she previously played Mariah in Porgy & Bess, Mary in It’s a Wonderful Life, and appeared in Gypsy. Other credits include: Lafawnduh in Napoleon Dynamite: The Musical at The Black Box. Regional credits include: Dreamgirls and Sister Act at Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre.

Drew Duncan’s theatre credits include Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd (Music Theater Heritage), Cop/Reporter in X, The Life and Times of Malcolm X (Opera Omaha), and featured roles in Carmen, Carousel, and Le nozze di Figaro, with appearances at Lyric Opera of Chicago, Virginia Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Chicago Opera Theater, Sarasota Opera, and Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra.

Bio: Catherine Rae is a Kansas City-based actor and musician. Recent credits: Ivy in Bare (The Arts Asylum), Third Witch in Macbeth (New Musical Work, Caleb McCarroll), and Johanna in Sweeney Todd (MTH). Other credits: Specialty Dancer (Superstar, The Barn Players), (Hairspray/Black Repertory theater), and stunt training (Ronin Stunt Company).

Keenan is humble to be back working with this fearless and spellbounding company. Working on stages in nearly every state in the lower 48 including a residency and National tour with the Kennedy Center, Huntington Stage. No stranger to every KC stage, he is an alum of Thee Kansas State University. Thanks for helping us keep Theatre crunk. Peace and love.

Ty Tuttle is a KC based pianist and musical theatre coach. He recently received his Master’s degree in Vocal Coaching and Accompanying from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Recent credits: Secret Garden, Titanic, Jump and Jive (MTH), Ordinary Days (Krannert Center for the Performing Arts), Mamma Mia! (Central Illinois Stage Co.), and Gianni Schicchi (Eastern Illinois University).

Alyssa Bell Jackson is an American violist, arts leader, and music advocate based in Kansas City. She currently serves as Executive Director of the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra, where she leads the organization’s fundraising, operations, and long-term strategy, shaping creative vision into sustainable organizational priorities. An active performer and educator, Alyssa has appeared and has recorded with a wide range of classical, jazz, and commercial artists. She is a founding member of the Fountain City String Quartet and remains deeply committed to cross-genre collaboration, music education, and expanding access to the arts. Alyssa holds degrees from the University of Missouri–Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance and the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. Her background as a classically trained violist working across genres informs her leadership approach, allowing her to effectively bridge artistic excellence with organizational strategy.

Kyle Brown is a versatile percussionist playing music from orchestral to jazz to experimental. He has been performing in the Kansas City area since 2010 and along with playing percussion, Kyle teaches percussion at Shawnee Mission West High School and his private studio of all ages.

Lawrence Jackson is a dynamic trumpeter in the Kansas City music scene. Wedding bands, big bands, funk bands, and salsa bands, Lawrence has versatile performance resume which includes multiple productions here at MTH. His musical journey has taken him far beyond Kansas City’s limits to perform on stages around the world. We are thrilled to welcome him back as a part Brigadoon!

Alla Wijnands is a highly accomplished violinist with advanced training from the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory. A founding member of the Saint Petersburg String Quartet, she toured internationally, performing at renowned venues across the U.S. and Europe. She has held key orchestral roles, including Concertmaster positions and performances with major symphonies. She has also performed in various Broadway productions, bringing her artistry to theatrical stages. With over 30 years of teaching experience, she has served as a professor and conducted masterclasses worldwide. Now based in Kansas City, Missouri, she continues performing with regional orchestras while teaching violin and viola, and actively participating in chamber music ensembles and solo recitals.
