T. Eric Morris is a Kansas City native who has performed at many theaters here in town and throughout the Midwest over the years including here at Music Theater Heritage, The Coterie, Theatre for Young America, The New Theatre Restaurant, and The KC Rep. You may recognize him from the movie adaptation of Nelly Don: The Musical which just finished its record breaking run at the Glenwood Fine Arts Theater. Special thanks to my wife Jane and stepdaughter Letti for their love and support.

MaryAnn is a Kansas City native who has wandered far and found that there’s no place like home. She is thrilled to be back at MTH, where her previous credits include: Godspell, A Chorus Line, It’s A Wonderful Life: Live Radio Play, and DOLLY: Ruby Room Series. Brian Vaughn is an educator, instrumentalist and singer from Kansas City, Missouri making a return to the world of performing musical theater after an absence spent educating K-5 music in Columbia, MO and Lee’s Summit, MO. A celebrated trombonist, Brian has performed with Collegiate Shag Brass Band, Columbia Jazz Orchestra, Lee’s Summit Jazz Orchestra, The Missouri Symphony, Mid-America Freedom Band, and in various churches and pit orchestras in the Missouri area. Brian was the Interim Education Director for MTH’s youth summer camps in 2023. He has appeared in MTH productions such as GODSPELL, The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess, RENT, RUBY ROOM: BROTHERLY LOVE, and A RUBY ROOM Christmas. He is very excited to be a part of RUBY ROOM: LET IT BE!

Jeff Freling, originally from Kansas City spent 11 years in Chicago, IL performing with Blue Man Group on electric zither and Chapman stick, and on guitar with Tributosaurus, Mar Caribe and the popular Tom Waits tribute band, Big Time. He also served as a sideman to guitarist/songwriter Doug Gillard of Guided By Voices.
Since returning to Kansas City in 2012, Jeff has composed music for film and television including Kansas City’s weekly television show “Cinema KC” and Judith Levy’s short film “NV in KC”, Carbon Trace Productions’ “A Vietnam Peace Story”. and most recently, the full length film “Kick Me”, Tony Ladesich’s short film “Great Plains Repertory”, and the pilot episode of the podcast “The Crypt Of Corvalo”. He has composed music, and served as music director for two theatre productions, “The Oil Boiler” and “Bucket Of Blood”, both produced by Kansas City’s Living Room Theatre. As producer/arranger, he contributed to Daisy Bucket’s 2018 release “Pansy” which won The Pitch’s Best Local Album of 2018, and produced Daisy’s second record “Welcome To Springfield”. He has composed music for corporate clients such as J.B. Nutter & Co., J. Rieger Distillery, and Artist INC. Jeff’s current live music projects include“Victor & Penny”, a guitar and ukulele duo alongside his wife, musician/actor Erin McGrane, and F/M Duo, a guitar duo with Cubanisms’ Michael McClintock.
Jeff studied at Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA and the Conservatory at UMKC in Kansas City, MO.

Brian Padavic joined MTH as Production Manager in Nov. 2023. He has also performed on previous productions Company, Gypsy, and Moby Dick, as well as the Ruby Room Series’ shows Bad Moon Rising, Brotherly Love, and On The Road Again. His educational background consists of music composition degrees from Berklee College of Music (BM) and University of Missouri-KC (MM). Padavic has toured the United States with his free improv group Ensemble of Irreproducible Outcomes, the swing/pop ensemble Davina and the Vagabonds, and Miss Myra and the Moonshiners, including international performances in Montreal, CA, Bogotá, D.C., Valencia, ES, and Paris, FR.
