Wednesday, May 12:
Arrive in New York City this afternoon aboard your non-stop flight arranged by Encore Travel. You will be met at LaGuardia airport by George Harter with transportation to THE CORNELL CLUB At #6 East 44th Street, just off FIFTH AVENUE.
As it has been a long travel day, this evening there will be a get-acquainted cocktail reception & dinner party hosted by Tim & George at the most storied of all theater restaurants: SARDI’S!
Thursday, May 13:
a FULL BREAKFAST is included each morning of your stay in New York. This morning join George & Tim for a Broadway History Tour of the Theater District. Walk in the steps of Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim & George Gershwin. Afterward Tim will interveiw a Broadway veteran at the MUSEUM of BROADWAY.
First of your FOUR Broadway shows will be WARRIORS the much awaited new show from Hamilton’s Lin Manuel Miranda at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater.
Friday, May 14:
Today is left free for you to enjoy New York in your own way; museums, shopping, a favorite restaurant, Central Park or the Highline, or take a water tour of New York.
As an option this morning, George will offer a walking tour of BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, with its breathtaking view of the New York skyline and the one-time homes of Walt Whitman, Arthur Miller, Norman Mailer, Aaron Copland, Truman Capote and many others.
Our Broadway outing for Friday night will include premuim seats to the innovative new production of EVITA at the Winter Garden Theater with Rachel Zegler as Eva Peron.
Saturday, May 15:
The day is at your leisure, until your choice of a Broadway matinee included in your tour cost. Maybe SCHMIGADOON, a love-letter to the Golden Age of musicals and winner of the 2026 Tony Award for Best New Musical. Or perhaps choose THE SOUND OF MUSIC at Lincoln Center! Regardless, you are free to choose any play or musical that appeals to your tastes.
After your matinee meet at LATTANZI the popular Broadway hang-out on 46th Street. Cocktail & house wines with your three-course dinner, all included
For Saturday night – from London – we have the most award-winning new musical in West End history, capturing the hearts of all ages: PADDINGTON at the Al Hirschfeld Theater. Filled with laughter, wonder, spectacular songs, dazzling choreography, and a generous helping of marmalade.
Sunday, May 16:
Enjoy the morning. Maybe a brisk walk to St Patrick’s Cathedral or grab a last minute Bagel and schmear. In any case, check out by noon. Coach transportation will be provided to the LaGuardia airport for flights home.
