New York & Broadway Theater Trip

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 17:
George will book your flights to New York LaGuardia and meet your arriving flight. Private transportation will be provided to THE CORNELL CLUB on 44th Street at Fifth Avenue. For Alums & Faculty of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, you will find it’s warm & homey atmosphere with a Five-Star rating the perfect home during your stay.

Let’s begin our four days in New York with a cocktail and pre-theater dinner with paired wines in the private Trophy Room at GALLAGHER’S famous steakhouse, a New York institution since 1927. Steaks are dry aged on-site. A seafood and vegetarian option will also be available.

Since it has been a long travel day, we will wind down our first night in the Big Apple with a visit to TOP OF THE ROCK. For a spectacular, unforgettable view of New York City at night.

THURSDAY, APRIL 18:
A FULL BREAKFAST at The Cornell Club is included each morning of your stay. This morning George will lead you on a one-hour walking tour of the Broadway Theater District with history & stories about the theaters and the great Broadway composers.
After the walking tour, George will take you to a rehearsal hall where we will meet a working Broadway performer for a one-hour interview and Meet & Greet. Afternoon FREE.
Our first Broadway show is TO BE DETERMINED. Perhaps the corny – comedy SHUCKED; maybe KIMBERLY AKIMBO, the winner of the this year’s Tony Award for Best Musical. George will wait and weigh options before ordering tickets.
FRIDAY, APRIL 19:
Today is left free for you to enjoy the great city of New York in your own way. George & Sharon will have a few optional activities available today.

SATURDAY, APRIL 20:
Today is a TWO SHOW day with DINNER. For the 2 PM matinee, it is YOUR CHOICE of ANY SHOW running on Broadway. This choice will be the third of our four shows INCLUDED IN THE TRIP COST.
After your chosen matinee performance, meet your group of theater goers at CAFE’ UN DEUX TROIS, the famous French bistro in the theater district. Order you favorite cocktail and tell us how you liked your show choice. SUNDAY, APRIL 21:
Morning is free. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the Cayuga Dining Room.
A private coach will depart at noon to LaGuardia for flights home.
